Board of Adjustment (BOA) - May authorize special exceptions and variances as provided in the zoning code. The board consists of five members who have been residents or property owners of the City of Stuart for not less than six months prior to appointment. This board meets on the fourth Thursday of every month at 5:30pm.

Community Redevelopment Board (CRB) - Reviews applications for Major Development within the Urban District, Historic Building development applications and Urban Code Exceptions. The board consists of seven members and meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 4:00pm, as needed.  

Local Planning Agency (LPA) - Makes recommendations to the City Commission regarding proposed amendments, land use in the City and proposed developments. The Board consists of seven members and meet on the third Thursday of every month at 5:30pm.

Community Services Advisory Board (CSAB) - Makes recommendations to the City Commission and to the Community Services Director regarding any matter involving the use of City parks and recreation facilities by the public.  Meetings are generally held on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:00pm.

Citizens' Advisory Committee (CAC) - The Citizens' Advisory Committee strives to represent the citizens of Martin County and is responsible for providing continuous public input for the MPO decision-making process.  In this capacity, the Committee reviews and comments on transportation planning documents and relevant issues to be brought before the MPO Board.  Meetings are generally 1st Wednesday of the month at 9:00am on the 1st Floor - Growth Management Conference Room Martin County.
