The Financial Services Department functions include General Ledger Accounting, Budgeting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Business License Tax, Fixed Asset Management, and Grant Management. Additionally, the Department oversees the Purchasing Division and Utilities Customer Service Division.
The City of Stuart received the Government Financial Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
