If you are planning a Special Event in the City of Stuart, you are required to apply for a Special Event Permit. This permit is necessary for the outdoor uses and activities listed below when held on private property:
Your application must be filed with the City of Stuart Development Department at least 14 working days prior to your event. Your application will not be processed until you submit a completed application along with any Banner Permit Applications, Liability Insurance and required Building Permits.
Banner signs are prohibited in the City of Stuart with the exception of non-profit organizations.
Non-profit organizations must apply for a Banner Permit with the Development Department. The City Manager may approve a Non-Profit Charitable Organization or Community Event placing banners on any street, public building, park or playground. Banner Permits are valid for ten days.
