2020 City Commission Elections
The City of Stuart will hold Elections in 2020 for Commissioner Seats/Groups 1, 3, and 5. This is a non-partisan election.
First Day of Qualifying - June 8, 2020 at 12:00 Noon
Last Day of Qualifying - June 12, 2020 by 12:00 Noon
Primary Election Day - August 18, 2020
General Election Day - November 3, 2020
All candidates must be: 1) a registered elector of the City; 2) a permanent resident of the City; and 3) a continuous, full-time resident of the City for the entire calendar year preceding his/her qualification for office.

STEP ONE: Do not accept contributions and do not open a campaign account until you have filed Form DS-DE-9 “Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Depository for Candidates” with the City Clerk.

STEP THREE: When Step One is complete and a copy of DS-DE-9 is taken to the bank to open an account, scheduled reports will be due. The report due date schedule will be provided to you by the City Clerk.

The offices of Stuart City Hall are temporarily altering operations to mitigate the threat of COVID-19 to both its employees and the general public.
