The City of Stuart will hold an Election for Commissioner Seats/Groups 2 and 4.  This is a non-partisan election. 

Election Qualifying - June 7, 2021 at 12:00 Noon through June 11, 2021 by 12:00 Noon (See 2021 Candidate Information)

Primary Election Day - August 17, 2021

General Election Day - November 2, 2021

All candidates must be: 1) a registered elector of the City; 2) a permanent resident of the City; and 3) a continuous, full-time resident of the City for the entire calendar year preceding his/her qualification for office.  

NOTICE OF CANVASSING BOARD MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A CANVASSING BOARD MEETING OF THE CITY OF STUART WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 17, 2021 FROM 4:00 PM TO 8:00 PM. THE MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE CITY HALL COMMISSION CHAMBERS LOCATED AT 121 S.W. FLAGLER AVENUE, STUART, FLORIDA 34994 FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPENING/TABULATING BALLOTS FOR THE 2021 CITY COMMISSION ELECTION, GROUP IV.  CANVASSING BOARD MEMBERS INCLUDE CITY ATTORNEY, MICHAEL MORTELL, CITY MANAGER, DAVID DYESS, AND CITY CLERK, MARY KINDEL.

Election Terms - Referendum effective January 1, 2021, Charter Article VII. Sec. 7.05

Groups 1, 3 and 5 are not up for re-election until 2022.  

Groups 2 and 4 are up for election in 2021 for a 3-year term.
