History of the Department

The City of Stuart Fire Rescue Department is in its 107th year of service in 2022. The members of our Fire Department are just as proud to serve our great city as those firefighters were in 1915. We still have the receipt of our first fire truck and fire hose purchased by the city in 1915 framed in our lobby. Tradition is what the fire service is built on and not many fire departments can say they are over 107 years old!
